The American Friends of the Ghetto Fighters’ House Museum (AFGFHM) was formed to support and promote the most unique Holocaust institution in the world, the Ghetto Fighters’ House Museum (GFHM). We want to connect with North Americans to encourage them to visit GFHM and its museums for adults and children, its archive, the Center for Humanistic Education (CHE) and the magnificent facility on Kibbutz Lohamei Hagetaot in the Galilee.
AFGFHM is rebuilding its base of support and seeking leaders with vision who would like to be a part of growing this organization in the U.S. and throughout North America
Programs are being developed that will encompass educational initiatives based on the resources and philosophy of the Ghetto Fighters’ House Museum. We are also planning to provide innovative, interactive cultural programming in English directly with the Museum in Israel.
Help us develop scholarship programs to bring people to GFHM in Israel, to support student trips and b’nai mitzvot, and to further develop the programs of GFHM’s Center for Humanistic Education.
What you do today will plant the seeds for the growth of American Friends of GFHM from coast to coast.
Currently, we have offices in the Washington, DC area and in New York City.
